What kind of businesses do you work with?

Established businesses — usually ones with real demand and a small team, where the way the business runs has not kept pace with how much it now does. We are not the right fit for pre-revenue ideas.

What is Business Discovery?

A structured review of how your business actually operates: how work arrives, how it gets delivered, where admin sits, which tools are used and where effort is being lost. It results in a written report of findings, with evidence recorded separately from our interpretation, grouped by theme and prioritised.

Do I have to buy anything after discovery?

No. The findings and recommendations are yours. If we recommend building something, it is quoted item by item and you can approve, decline or defer each part independently.

How much does it cost?

Because scope varies so much, we do not publish package prices. Pricing is set out in a written quotation after discovery, broken down by recommended solution, so you can see exactly what each part costs before committing.

How long does it take?

The conversation and discovery usually run over a couple of weeks, depending on how much of the business we need to look at. Delivery timescales are agreed with the quotation, based on actual scope.

Is this just website and brand work?

No. Website and brand are tools we use when discovery shows they are genuinely holding the business back. Most of our work is operations, process and bespoke systems.

Will you tell me if I do not need anything?

Yes. Part of the value of a proper review is knowing what already works and should be left alone. We will also say when the right next step is smaller or later than you expected.

How much of my time will this take?

Expect an initial conversation, a discovery session, and some access to the people who do the work. We keep the demand on your time as light as we can while still getting an accurate picture.

What happens after the work is delivered?

We embed the change with the team and then review the effect. Where ongoing management or support is sensible — systems, hosting, continued improvement — it is quoted separately and clearly.

Are you a software development agency?

No. We are a business consultancy. Discovery often shows the answer is a better process, clearer responsibilities or better use of the systems already in place. Bespoke software is one possible outcome, not the starting assumption.

What is the Business Friction Score?

A free assessment that takes around five minutes and scores operational friction across six areas of the business. It gives an initial indication of where growth is being held back. It is not a full diagnosis, and there is no obligation afterwards.
